Jr. Trojans Girls basketball

2025 Homecoming Parade

Our Mission

Our mission is to empower girls in grades K5–8 to grow through the game of basketball—building confidence, developing fundamental skills, fostering teamwork, and inspiring a lifelong love of the sport.

We provide a positive, inclusive environment where players of all experience levels can learn, compete, and thrive. Through age-appropriate coaching and meaningful team experiences, we help girls grow both as athletes and individuals—on and off the court.

We believe that youth sports should build character, create community, and encourage girls to take pride in their progress. By focusing on development over wins, we aim to make every player feel valued, capable, and part of something bigger than themselves.

Black (4th grade)

The 4th grade program builds on foundational skills with a greater focus on more competitive team play, defense, and game awareness. Players practice twice a week and compete in Sunday league games. At this level, teams are allowed to play defense at half court, but full court pressing is only permitted in the final 1 minute of the game, allowing players to gradually adjust to increased defensive pressure while continuing to develop core skills. The team is for 4th graders who have played competitive basketball before.
